ALCS Game 4: Tampa Bay looks for a reset in Cleveland

Victory Pulse · October 16, 2026 · Edition prepared before Friday’s games

Friday, October 16 | Rays at Guardians | Scheduled for 8 p.m. ET

Cleveland enters Game 4 ahead 2–1, leaving Tampa Bay with an opportunity to level the series before Saturday. A Guardians victory would instead put the Rays one loss from elimination.

What we're watching: Tampa Bay's ability to put the ball in play after striking out 13 times in Game 3. Cleveland's challenge is to keep finding enough offense to support its pitching. Early baserunners and productive outs could have an outsized impact in another close game.
