Bauers wins the battle, Brewers move within one win

Victory Pulse · October 16, 2026 · Edition prepared before Friday’s games

October 14 | NLCS Game 3 | Milwaukee 6, Los Angeles 2

Jake Bauers turned an 11-pitch confrontation into a go-ahead, two-run homer in the seventh inning, helping Milwaukee defeat Los Angeles 6–2. Garrett Mitchell followed with another home run, and the Brewers left Game 3 with a commanding 3–0 series lead.

The Victory Pulse takeaway: Milwaukee answered a late deficit with decisive swings. Bauers' ability to extend the at-bat before doing damage captured the pressure the Brewers were applying throughout the series.
